  • Overview

    Serves in the roll of Environmental Professional/Storm Water Compliance for the Conroe office is responsible for the inspection and client support of all storm water locations assigned.


    The Environmental Professional/Storm Water Compliance will report directly to the Division Manager-Storm Water Compliance, while supporting other division’s environmental projects/operations as needed.


    • Technical Knowledge: Apply the following rules and regulations in the field and in/through reports plans and permits: Storm water TXR050000, TXR15000, TXG11000 and Spill Prevention Control and Counter Measures (SPCC) 40 CFR 112
    • Customer Service: Be focused on client/customer retention and development/growth
    • Reporting: Prepares and maintains reports that are necessary to carry out functions of the storm water projects both regulatory and internal reporting
    • Skills: Ability to read and interpret various technical documents such as maps, construction plans, specifications, equipment’s instruction manuals, standard operating procedures, analytical methods, and or state and federal regulatory guidelines. Detail oriented and willingness to work within a team. Achieve monthly and annual utilization goals and other key performance indicators as assigned
    • Travel: Be prepared to directly serve the Gulf Coast Region but also travel the rest of Texas and United States as required
    • Cross Training: Participate in department cross training program to develop skills in all environmental service areas
    • Safety: Understand, adhere and participate in the Raba Kistner Health and Safety and Behavior Based Safety Programs and set a good safety example

    • Serves as a backup inspector and other duties as assigned by Direct Report


    • Bachelors in a scientific engineering field. 5 years or more applicable experience
    • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
    • Proven experience working effectively in a team environment
    • Must be able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner and skillfully gather and analyze information
    • Proven experience working on multiple projects, producing accurate information while meeting deadlines
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Publisher)
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Must be able to work well with all levels of people within the organization and outside of the company
    • Requires professional appearance, pleasant telephone voice, agreeable personality, and the ability to meet people and make them feel comfortable
    • Must be able to operate standard field equipment and tools in a manner to support client needs
    • Must be able to work beyond the normal work schedule when needed
    • Possess valid Texas driver’s license and meet company’s auto insurability requirements
    • Ability to interface with and between regulatory agencies and private industry
    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
    • Ability to work independently on a job site
    • 40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER
    • Ability to travel up to and more than 40% as well as overnight
    • Ability to drive company vehicle, manage and complete all assigned jobs, efficiently and on time


    • Works in normal office work environment and in the field at various industrial/construction locations
    • Work related responsibilities require travel to client offices or event locations, as necessary

    Must pass a drug test prior to employment and will be subject to post-accident, random, and reasonable cause testing during employment.
