The position of NEPA/Natural Resources Project Manager requires a formal educational background in the Environmental Sciences, Biology or related discipline and familiarity with ecological studies, endangered species, Clean Water Act compliance, and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The position requires a minimum of 5 years of applicable experience and/or recognizable technical expertise, in addition to a willingness and ability to quickly establish proficiency with internal RKE procedures and protocols for conducting field and reporting components of these projects.
In this capacity, the NEPA/Natural Resources Project Manager's responsibilities encompass supporting a successful business practice in RABA KISTNER'S Environmental Planning and Permitting Program. In this role, the NEPA/Natural Resources Project Manager shall be assigned project duties to include the performance of and reporting related to biological (flora/fauna) studies, waters of the United States evaluations and permit applications, environmental impact assessments (Categorical Exclusions, Environmental Assessments, Environmental Impact Statements, etc.).
The position also involves proactive client-building and opportunity identification through networking, being active in local environmental associations, public speaking opportunities, and providing excellent customer service to internal/external clients and agencies. The NEPA/Natural Resources Project Manager will communicate and interact regularly with clients, agencies, landowners, and internal staff to ensure successful project completion.
Must pass a drug test prior to employment and will be subject to post-accident, random, and reasonable cause testing during employment.
